How We Create Digital Giclée Prints

Step 1:
To achieve optimal results in this process you will need a professionally produced photographic color transparency or a direct digital capture of your work. If you do not have a color transparency or digital file we can produce a high resolution digital image in our studio.

Step 2:
We then scan your art into our computer system, color correct it as necessary and provide a 8x10 proof printed on matte photo paper. This is included in the charge for the first print per original.  This covers image capture services, the proof, and in-house archiving for future reproductions.

Step 3:
Upon receipt of the approved proof, we reproduce the final image to your specific size requirements. This final proof is held at Artists Imaging as the Bon A Tier (BAT) reference proof for all future orders. The combination of specialty inks and stocks creates prints of museum quality and durability.
