Autumn at Butchard Gardens
Butchert Gardens is one of the most spectacular gardens in North America. It is just outside of Victoria in British Columbia, Canada. There are several gardens that are always changing with the seasons. This maple was in full color in late September. The branch of the tree was in a horizontal plane that allowed me to use a shallow depth of field which allowed me to pick a point of focus and make the leaves seem to fade into the background.
